AccountManager provides a Web-based interface
that enables you to connect to and communicate with your UNIX Web server via
SSH (Secure Shell). This tool, which uses the MindTerm Secure Shell (SSH)
client from AppGate, enables secure remote access to an SSH-enabled server.
For example, your site's administrator can log in to
AccountManager and access your Web servers from a remote location (such as at
home, or from a hotel room) to check activity logs, monitor system performance
or update user access privileges and be assured that the connection is secured.
To launch the SSH tool:
- In AccountManager, click
Website
Tools. The Website Tools main page appears.
- Click Web
Based SSH. This page provides an overview of the SSH Client.
- Scroll to the bottom
and click Login.
A security warning displays. This warning is designed to ensure that the
application is provided by a trusted source.
|

|
You can prevent this warning
from displaying in the future by selecting the Always
trust content from NetNation Corporation check box.
|
- Click Yes
to continue. The MindTerm license agreement displays.
- Review the license
agreement and then click Accept.
The MindTerm Client launches within the AccountManager main window.
